* Artomatic is a rather unique entity – it is a massive art exhibit of all media, two-dimensional and three-dimensional, including music, dance, cinema and performance art, organized by artists for artists. It runs for four to five weeks in a repurposed space, usually a commercial building between tenants. The first Artomatic in 1999 was held in an old industrial laundry, thus the name, and had roughly 100 artists participating. Today it has grown to over 1000 artists and 200 performances. Each artist has approximately 12 linear feet of wall to curate as they see fit..
