The Figure in the Landscape - Infrared

I’ve been fascinated by the human figure in the landscape, especially using infrared film. IR film adds an ethereal quality, something otherworldly, to the human figure. As a reviewer of an exhibition I was in misquoted me in their review, it becomes a “white hot fairy-land”. The best infrared films (Kodak HIE, Konica IR) are no longer available, so the work I can do today is only a simulacrum of the work I used to make. All these images are from the early 2000s when those two films were still available.
